I left the Labour party because they have forgotten how why and by whom, they were founded

Well, that's settled then, Chiefs they were and Chiefs they will remain

The word Chief is generic...so lose the Indian references in costume etc ..and keep the name.

And Chiefs could easily be used without offence perhaps by referring to the dumnonii as opposed to indigenous Americans? A fearsome Celtic warrior’s head & torso?

A cockerel rampant astride a tap under crossed splitting mauls?

I still like the idea of a 'Ramsey rampant astride a flaming grill under crossed ladles'

So what happens when Exeter supporters continue to wear their head dress things, bang their drums and continue with that chop chant?

They prove that they're racist.

Not sure racist is the right term. Ignorant maybe

I think when you've been informed of your ignorance, but you continue to do it anyway, it goes beyond that.

I agree that the Exeter conclusion is being half pregnant. Having not been fussed by it, I am now of the opinion that they should drop the First Nation people’s association

I'm not sure ignorance works as an excuse anymore.

I'd be pretty surprised if too many people still choose to wear a headdress now.

Yorkie, not 100% sure but I think I read that an NHL team, the Chicago Blackhawks, will now refuse entry to people in such attire.

SK.

Was sort of asking an open question after the fudge. I'd lay money that some supporters will do at least one of the 3 three things suggested. So, for a home game, what do Exeter do then?

Exeter clearly don't care about it, so I'd imagine they will continue to encourage it.

According to the Guardian, the BT crowd effects will not include the Tomahawk Chop. Nor, I suspect the plaintive and too-often despairing chant of 'Ti gerus.'

How I miss that full volume "Tigers, Tigers" when the team are in full flow and going for it, either in defence or attack. Too little heard in recent seasons.

Is the Mohawk Bar still appropriate ?

Or playing the tomahawk chop (if that is what the native american/old cowboy films chant is called) over the tannoy when they score a try?

Players had their own music hat was played pre break for each try scored. I wonder if this was the club trying to make some kind of point?

What point? We're racist and proud of it?

Exeter should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

That they stand by it not being offensive and that they're not doing anything illegal I guess.
The sooner it goes the better. It's an embarrassment.
