Idle's wasted on here, with the need to decode/interpret his postings he should be on The Beloved Leader's payroll for communication, he was advertising a 100k job for that the other day.

Martin Johnson - formerly, I believe, of the Mercury and of the Telegraph. The sort of fine, considered , impartial sports journlist that evry paper used to employ. Now, sadly, almost extinct. I haven't read anything by him for a long time - indeed I had not realised he was still working.

I met him in Ross on Wye a few years ago. He has been writing for TCP for a couple of years. Arguably the best sports journalist ever, certainly the funniest
