Clarification re: Removed post

I feel it is appropriate and necessary to inform members of this board about an incident on here over the weekend and a post left by one of our members.
I did some tidying up of the board on Saturday by editing of posts to make them no longer sticky's and as I was out Saturday evening saw no more activity on her. Yesterday morning I noted that three thread titles had been removed and replaced with commas. These were The 'Wolves Europa League' Corona Virus' and 'An Interesting Read' threads which had all been started by An Angry Wolf. I then read the post left by him complaining that a post he had made had been removed, and complaining of 'draconian censorship'. I stated at the time that I knew nothing about such a removal, and my fellow Moderator Ivybridge Wolf also confirmed that he had no knowledge of this.
I can now confirm that the post was removed by Sportnetwork. I have now seen the post, and it is a further development of the topic, but contains language which may be considered by some to be homophobic, offensive and inappropriate for a football based internet forum.
This forum is hosted by Sportnetwork and in my opinion they have an absolute right to remove any material that is considered to be offensive or sensitive, and which may put their name in a bad light - especially in these days when Social Media is held up to close scrutiny in so many ways.
A short while ago An Angry Wolf found himself unable to log on to his account on here as he could not remember his password or the email address he originally used. As Moderator I was able to seek and achieve the assistance of Sportnetwork in getting him back on line. I have no wish to see him leave this forum now as I find his opinions generally interesting and often entertaining. However as in much of life there is a line which should not be crossed, and if it is there are usually ramifications.
In my view the situation has been dealt with appropriately. I just want you to know that we do our best to keep this site running positively for all, and to answer any concerns you may have.

I didn't see the post so I can't comment specifically on it but I'm sure An Angry Wolf didn't mean any harm by whatever it was.

I can see what you are saying Chesh and I suppose Sportsnetwork do have the right to delete posts, although there is a question of freedom of speech for me.
This year is the 75th anniversary of the end of the war. I always think of you as being one of the more intelligent amongst us and I wont insult that intelligence by saying what they fought for.
I agree that in this day and age, rightly or wrongly, people have to be careful what they say or write but I am a bit of an oldie and wasn't offended by anything in the post.

And racist. A disparaging comment was included about Jamaican women that appeared to be a pejorative reference to the Windrush scandal. That prat has used what should be a casual fun sports blog to spout bigoted crap. Any support for BLM on here? Or any posts about that? You need to sort it out

There was no mention of any Jamaican woman, now go away d1ckhead as you bring nothing to the board. The fact you have had to come here and make a blatant lie shows you up for what you are- a senile old w*anker and if you said this to my face regardless of your age I'd kick 7 shades out of you

I'd suggest mods here would be more concerned with a senile old fart making blatant lies up as some here saw the post and there was no mention of any Jamaican woman or "windrush" . The fact you are so pathetic as to lie about it is laughable.... I bet you don't get out much oldngold to type such a thing. It's quite amusing you have to stoop to such cowardly depths to accuse someone of that due to you being shown up as a clueless moron who thought we would be relegated. Keep taking your meds old boy

Andy , you read the post and did you see racist comments made to " a Jamaican woman and the windrush scandal"? If not I request OldnGOlds profile is removed as accusing posters of things like that stoops to a new low even for here.. arguments are one thing but lies like that have no place on here. Infact OldnSeniles only contribution to this forum in 2020 is resurrecting a thread on Fosun looking for an argument and now this so clearly has no interest in positively contributing to wolves. I don't support BLM, it doesn't make me racist and why should anyone on here support it as OldNsenile suggests to make the forum appear anti racist? It's outrageous really and worse than anything SPRH did 5 years ago these type of comments.

Blimey, after all this time I can't remember what was in it but judging by the post I made above, I must have seen it as being perfectly acceptable.

I dont mind people taking issues with things I've said but a poster coming back after months away accusing someone of posting something they haven't takes the biscuit.
Lets examine the evidence- A post I made 5 months ago one Saturday night which was removed due to a crude reference to a homosexual act talking about the rainbow flag nonsense. Not a single reg bar Andy saw it who had no issue with it yet OldnGold who posts here once every blue moon was miraculously online for the tiny time frame it was up and fabricates some nonsense about a "jamaican woman" slur. What are the chances of OldNgold, a reg that posts a handful of times a year being online for 2 hours one night to view a post that only one other reg saw. Not only that, but he waits 5 months to mention it- how strange. Then you look at his last post which was on the Fosun thread ( months ago) targeted at me and a pattern starts to emerge... we haven't seen him here post on any match thread or wolves related topic.
You would think given how well Wolves are doing , people would be posting on the Europa league thread etc and match threads yet OldNsenile decides to log in for the first time in months resurrecting a thread months old making up blatant lies which are actually libel.

I can't speak for others, but regardless of whether there is support for BLM on a football board, what are you going to do about it? Many people don't support it for reasons I have discussed but it doesn't make them racist- the fact you are too stupid to see that at your time of life is shameful.
