Are you ready for Christmas?

Yes
No
yes, but need to replace the booze
yes, but need to replace the booze and at least 1 tin of Quality Street
Being Christmas ready too early usually costs twice as much in the long run

Noted. And I'm likely to agree with you for the most part.

I hate it ,.as stated just money making commercialised nonsense ,all happy families beaming at each other in the adverts ,same old songs ,the adverts will start at Easter soon ,family insisting you must go for your dinner ,so can’t have a drink .Santa ,if he comes down my chimney I will smash his head in , Happy Christmas to you all

That's a bloody brilliant idea. Baddiel and Skinner could have a Christmas No.1

Looks like I'm in the minority here boys but I can't wait .
I enjoy Christmas big time . Loads of booze , food , prezzies , time off work , get to see my Bro's and fly out to Poland between Christmas and New Year . What's not to like ?

A simple answer to the question, What do you want for Christmas?

Maximum points for the Rovers.

Your right Muir ,I think HKR still thinks Santa has Elves making all the toys for girls and boys ,not even on minimum wage I bet 😁 maximum points over the festive season ,? Christmas is a time of miracles so I am led to believe ,but that’s stretching things a bit .,my favourite Christmas movie Scrooge with Alistair Sims will be on for sure ,what a wonderful actor he was .this movie along with the role of the headmistress in the Girls of St Trinians were his best ,I do feel Scrooge let the side down going soft at the end ,but I suppose a visit from the 3 ghosts wouldn’t help .i dreamt of my ex last week and was compelled to put stuff in the box at Tesco for the Local food bank ,ghosts eh

I have similar sentiments.

Last January I read a book ‘the art of not giving a f*ck’. Highly recommended as it suggests we spend too much time bothering with things that don’t matter. One of the things on my list that I wasn’t going to give an F about was Crimbo. Too often it’s an excuse for buying people@#$%&they don’t want and enforced sentimentality.

Of course, I recognise for some it’s Rex’s jangly bits and all that. So have a good one. Each to their own. Peace on earth goodwill to dodgy referees, blue noses and red noses if that floats your boat.

Christmas is coming, the geese are getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man's hat
If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do
If you haven't got a ha'penny, then God Bless You!

The window is coming, we ain't sitting pretty
We need to spend money from our transfer kitty
If we ain't got money, our squad will have to do
But if they don't improve, then we could be in the poo!

I agree with the sentiments expressed by others but today I went to my grandsons' Nativity concert and it showed what Christmas is really all about.Children performing in the church with enthusiasm and gusto made my day.Well done St.John's!
