"Solid" is the word I'd use for that selection.

Good to see Kvesic force his way into the big match squad

Surprised to not see Armand involved but the coaches clearly like the contributions of Ewers and Vermuelen this season.

Looking forward to this. La Rochelle have put a good team out.. a big pack, with two very big props!! Scrumtime will be a battle, but good to have Williams back.

This lineup suggests to me that when Nic White goes we wonít recruit another big name scrum half. Hope the two young nines go really well. Come on Chiefs.

I wouldn't describe that as a weakened La Rochelle side, even though they haven't qualified, from when we last played them.

That is one strong bench we have! A bonus point win and a home quarter final will be deserved if we finish the group unbeaten.

Scrappy first half but knuckles down and won comfortably in the end. Hopefully we can retain second seeding if Sarries do a job on Racing!

We need Glos to put up a fight against Toulouse too.

I just hope Sarries donít get a bonus point win.. I donít really want to play them in the quarter. Iím confident we will beat them but thereís always a chance we might not, which I couldnít bear given the current situation

Good win today though. We are lucky to have two explosive forwards in LCD and Simmonds.

LCD deserved Mom...... He's improved a great deal and has gotta be making EJ think about that starting berth for England.
Entertaining game overall, bit loose and sloppy first half but bleddy ell did we blow them away in that 15 minute spell. Joe Simmonds continues to impress also.
What a squad we currently have.
Well done all....... Job done!

Kaboom! Can't ask for more from this Chiefs side...was sure Hoggy's second half effort was a try but ultimately it didn't matter! Currently on course to face Northampton and BBC say it'll be at Sandy Park! Well fingers crossed that's true.

So bring on whoever in the quarter finals! smiling smiley

anybody else think Stus kick out at end of the game was the wrong decision, we needed points avg to beat racing 92 to second place for home semi final if we win quarters
steeno didn't seem happy with his kick either!

Very poor first quarter. Pleasing to see the players turn it around, and win fairly comfortably in the end.

We made life easy for LaR, with so little kicking threat in the back line. As soon as the ball went past 10, the LaR defence knew they could just fly up. There was so much space in the back field today, with a slippy ball, quite why we didn't get the ball into the corners I don't know, especially in that first half, where we were losing the collisions, and putting ourselves under pressure in the wrong areas of the field through poor game management.

Second half was better, with scrum going very well, once the replacement THP came on for LaR. Devoto looked lively when he came on, but it was a very different opposition by the time the subs arrived.

BP win in Europe after a 6/10 performance can't be bad I guess
