Early days but there seems to have been something of a transformation from a guy who was considered a 'penalty machine' and some wondering why he was anywhere near team Captain. A very strong showing against Saracens .

I think Jim wore him out with the ridiculous amount of game time he had without rest. Proper game management, rest and recuperation, some coaching direction and decent pre season probably all play a role

Very pleased to see we seem to have got the original Alex Waller back
Almost all we see of players is what happens on the pitch but as we know there is more to life than that with more players coming clean about personal life problems. Im not suggesting theres anything like that as this is how rumours start but form can be affected by many things
Walks you are dead right about overwork. He's been about three years recovering in that case
