well as he is back to some training he must have recovered. lets hope he continues to make good progress and gets back to a normal health state.
he can take his time getting back to rugby.

Fortunately they caught it time. Reading up online people should make a full recovery. 3 months of blood-thinning to clear any blood clots according the the NHS website. So the earliest we'll see Woody is start of Nov. Given the extreme lung strain I wouldn't be surprised if it takes longer to be safe.

I suspect they added a zero in. 2008 games would be over 200 a season!

The club website shows Ron Jacobs holding the record number of appearances at 470, between 1949 and 1966.

It sounds like he's back doing non-contact training already and only can't play for three months because he'll be on blood thinners for that period (I presume more risk of bad bruising and more bleeding from the usual studmarks, clashed heads etc).
