England travel to Scotland, Murrayfield this weekend   "to have a bit of fun" as Eddie Jones said after the French Match!  What is he on about for goodness sake?  The display in France in  the first half was awful, they finally woke up in the second half but too late!  FUN he has to be kidding, if they play like they did against the French, Scotland will have them by the short and you know whats!  Plus  how to anger the Scots with three letters FUN, how about a bit of respect and less of the mind games.

Also what was this comment  "we were feeling sorry for ourselves"!   Again what is that about?  Doest it mean that the Saracen players were not mentally in a good place and feeling down......... Dear God if you can't feel pride in  pulling on an England Jersey.  Well just get lost, plenty others would take your hand off for the chance!

Rant Over...

England need to perform really well this Saturday in Scotland.  It will not be easy, the Scots will be baying for blood,  windy weather is forecast and there will be some jittery nerves going on.  But they have it all to play for.  Come on Guys', to coin a phrase 'Let's Get It Done".

Mako Vunipola, Jamie George and Kyle Sinckler are named in the front row with George Kruis and Maro Itoje selected in the second row.  Lewis Ludlam is named at blind-side flanker with Sam Underhill at openside and Tom Curry at number 8.  Willi Heinz starts at scrum half with Ben Youngs named as a finisher. George Ford and captain Owen Farrell will play fly half and inside centre with Jonathan Joseph named at outside centre.

George Furbank, who made his England debut last weekend, is selected at full back with Elliot Daly and Jonny May on the wings.  Uncapped players Tom Dunn and Ben Earl are included as finishers with Joe Launchbury returning to the matchday 23 after recovering from injury.

Scotland Back row Magnus Bradbury replaces Nick Haining in the only change to the Scotland line-up for Saturday's Six Nations visit of England.

Scotland: Hogg (capt); Maitland, Jones, Johnson, Kinghorn; Hastings, Price; Sutherland, Brown, Fagerson, Cummings, Gray, Ritchie, Watson, Bradbury.

Replacements: McInally, Dell, Berghan, Toolis, Haining, Horne, Hutchinson, Harris.

England:  Furbank; May, Joseph, Farrell, Daly; Ford, Heinz; M Vunipola, George, Sinckler, Kruis, Itoje, Ludlam, Underhill, Curry

Replacements: Dunn, Genge, Stuart, Launchbury, Lawes, Earl, Youngs, Devoto

Looking for a reset in intensity from the first whistle this week rather than the start of the second half! Still some odd looking selections but Eddie is trying a few things out and there is a lot of talent in that lineup. As ever, I'm optimistic provided the mindset is right!
