Bath ERE -v- Bristol Rugby Memorial Match Update

We are very pleased to announce that the Bath ERE -v- Bristol Rugby Memorial Match will take place at the Recreation ground on Saturday 30th April 2005 KO 17:00 (TBC).

This match is in memory of Tim Morris aka "Moz_Bath" with all proceeds going to the charity Medecins Sans Frontieres. This Charity was nominated by Tim's family to which many of you have already donated. This Match gives many of us the chance to fulfill our boyhood dreams of running onto the Rec in front of what we hope to be a good sized crowd.

The Match will be played directly after the undercard, Bath Rugby -v- Leeds Tykes game, this should warm you up a bit for the rip-roar game of the year.

We are currently in negotiations with Bath Rugby about the possibility of the ERE team wearing the Blue, Black & White of Bath, and we believe that the www.Bristol Rugby.net folk will also be playing in their beloved Shoguns shirts.

Several people have already donated money to find the match as there are a few costs involved in organising this. Glen Leat, our illustrious leader has offered to act as Treasurer for this occasion and will keep us updated on how much money we have raised in memory of Moz_Bath.

For those people who have kindly offered to play, there is a Match Fee of £15 plus the cost of your shirt which you get to keep. This too can be paid through Paypal. Please note when paying this please state your real name and your Sportnetwork name stating whether you are a player or just donating so we can tick next to the box for all players.
