Dave Jones has vowed that his team will most likely attack Reading
in Wednesdays second leg Play-Off Semi Final even though the Wolves take
a one-goal advantage to the Madejski.
Jones wants his side to "embrace the pressure" as his side
aim to keep a clean sheet at the Madejski Stadium. - Anything other than
a defeat would be good enough to send Wolves to Cardiff on May 26th.
However Jones has injury worries concerning Kenny Miller who injured
his ankle whist celebrating Naylors goal on Saturday and Paul Butler is
struggling with a knee injury which he sustained in a challenge with
Readings Tyson, who was sent off for the rash challenge.
There is always pressure and expectation with Wolves and I have spent
my two years here trying to get the players to embrace it rather than
fear it," Jones told IC Birmingham.
"And I think they are starting to
do it. I could sense the tension before the first leg but I think I'd be
more worried if it wasn't there.
"We knew it was always going to
be a tough game but even though we didn't play at our best we've got a
lead.
"I'll have a long hard think
about how to approach the game on Wednesday but I do think we are a much
better team when we are attacking."
The build-up to the first leg was surrounded by huge media attention
as Fans, Players and Officials from both Wolves and Reading battled it
out in a `War of words` to try and gain a slight advantage.
"It's a war of words sometimes
and all the hype is just people trying to gain an extra edge.
"Reading were doing all the
talking and making themselves underdogs but we always knew we were in
for two tough games," said Jones.
"We've got our noses in front but
it's only half-time."
Kenny Miller should be fit for the match whilst Paul Butler says its
a matter of waiting to see if he`ll be fir for the return leg of the
Semi Final.
Readings leading scorer Nicky Forster is a serious doubt for Reading
after picking up an injury at Molineux.
