WOLVES FINALLY REACH THE PREMIERSHIP

Wolves have finally done it. after 19 years away from the top league, the Molineux men are back and ready for business following a fine performace in Cardiff.

I'll tell you the truth - it's 9:15pm and I have just arrived home after a 2 1/2 hour long coach journey - I'm tired..... so i'm going to keep this short and sweet.

One of the finest perfomances of Matt Murray's short career was just the icing on the cake for Wolves fans as the men in gold and black marched on to the Premiership after a 3-0 victory over Sheffield United at The Millennium Stadium. Goals from Kennedy, Blake and Miller were enough to see off the Blades and take Wolves up.

Kennedy slammed Wolves ahead with a fine first time shot in only the 6th minute, and things only got better from there. 2 more goals in the first half, followed by a penalty save from Murray at the start of the 2nd half sent the Wolves supporters into deafening chants of support for the team.
