 Wolves Golden Boy JJ Melligan has been tipped by pundits as the next star to come off the Wolves production line and he believes this is a "make or break" season for him. 

 Wolves have had some great success when it comes to delivering talent from the Acadamy and Wolves found two players last season who may both come to be stars of the Premiership.

 Mark Clyde, an Irish international made his debut against Stoke earlier in the season and proved good enough to keep club captain, Paul Butler out of the side for most of the season, losing his place eventually to tiredness.

 Another player, who has proved superb this season is goalkeeper Matthew Murray.

 Murray made his debut for Wolves against Wimbledon and was playing for the England U21`s within just four first team games for Wolves. He was outstanding and also won man of the match at Cardiff in the Wolves Play-Off win over Sheffield United.

 Joleon Lescott has been tipped as the best central defender seen at Molineux for years and will be an England full international, like Matt Murray for years to come but we must not forget Robbie Keane.

 Keane followed the same lines as Matt Murray, Joleon Lescott and Mark Clyde and is now currently one of the greatest strikers in the Premiership.

 Keane is approaching 50 Full International caps at such a young end and has been to Coventry, Inter Milan and now `Spurs for a total of over £38M, but Wolves now have a new Golden Boy.

 JJ Melligan has been tipped as the new Robbie Keane. He spent last season on loan at Kidderminster and scored 12 goals from Midfield.

 But, already 21, he believes this will be a make or break season for him. 

“This is a huge season,” Melligan told the Sunday Mercury. “I think it really is make or break as far as Wolves and I are concerned. All I want to do is come back, knuckle down during pre-season and then see what happens.

“I know I am going to have to prove a lot as the gap between the Third Division and the Premiership is massive.

“I want to put myself in the frame but I know it’s not going to be easy as there are a lot of quality midfielders ahead of me, such as Colin Cameron, Alex Rae and maybe Paul Ince.

“That makes it really difficult for me as I prefer playing centre midfield but I might have to look at playing right side instead, which I have been told is my best position. At Kidderminster I played just behind the strikers, which gave me the freedom to roam around, but I know Wolves don’t play that style.”

 If JJ does knuckle down, he could be the next Robbie Keane and may be one of the hottest youngsters in the Premiership.
