 Wolves Try To Land M`Bami

 Cameroon and Sedam star Modeste M`Bami has said that he is "attracted" by the challenge Wolverhampton Wanderers offers should Wolves chose to sign the Midfielder.

 The Sedam star claims Tottenham and Chelsea are also interested in signing him but admits Wolves are currently the most eager to sign him.

 This comes after a deal, which looked to be done and dusted, fell through at contract talks with M`Bami and Paris Saint Germain last week and now Wolves have tried to sign the promising 20 year old and he believes playing in the English Premiership may be his best option.

 Talking to Planet Football M`Bami said "He (Sedam Chairman, Mr Pascal Urano) has received five concrete propositions: PSG, Sochaux, Chelsea, Tottenham and Wolverhampton"

 "On Saturday I was ready to sign for PSG, the clubs had agreed a fee but there was a little problem with my wages."

 "My Chairman advised me to go to PSG as it would be an excellent springboard, but I am not ruling out a move to England"

 "I would get a very good contract at Wolves and the club really want me, the club (Wolves) have offered me a great challenge and I am attracted"

 "It is very exciting and there are also the offers from Tottenham and Chelsea"

 *New signing Isaac Okoronkwo was unveiled at RAF Cosford this morning and on his new signing, Manager Dave Jones told WOW "We found him as a result of our scouting system, We’ve seen him on television and live and it’s a big plus now we’re in the Premiership to get somebody of this international class. But we had to move quickly because he’s had other offers"

. "The idea behind the one year contract is to see if he can settle and do well here. But if he can settle in the Ukraine then he should settle here. Even if Joleon Lescott was fully fit, we would still have signed him."

 Isaac said: "I’ve got friends in the international team who have told me all about English football. I have played against England in World Cup and Arsenal in Champion League so I know a little bit about the game in England."

 "I did speak to other clubs but I think this is the best one for me because I can see how hungry the coach (Dave Jones) is and I think I can learn a lot from him. I knew inside this was the right place for me."

"I’ve seen lots of tapes of Wolves games, including the play-off final which was very impressive. I met some of the players this morning and they were all laughing and joking. I can see it is a good dressing room."

 *Meanwhile Paul Ince and Denis Irwin are both set to sign new contracts. 

 Dave Jones revealed at this morning Press-Release that both players are "very close" to putting pen to paper on the new deals.

 Wolves may also announce another press-conference for tomorrow morning to announce the Third Premiership signing. An unknown player (possibly M`Bami) flew into the Midlands last night and will take a medical today and will hopefully be unveiled tomorrow.
