Jones Ready For New Deal

 Wolvesfc.co.uk understands that Wolves Manager Dave Jones is close to signing a new contract for Wolverhampton Wanderers.

It was revealed after the Play-Off win in May that Dave Jones would receive a new contract for managing to do what so many other Managers had failed to do - He placed Wolverhampton Wanderers back amongst the elite, back to the best league in the world, the Barclaycard Premiership.

 Dave Jones has just one year left on his current contract but Sir Jack is keen to keep Jones at Molineux for the next few seasons at least.

 When asked after the Play-Off win in Cardiff if Jones would get a new contract, Sir Jack replied "Yes, yes, of course." and now it is believed Jones is ready to put pen to paper on his new deal.

 It is speculated that Jones is currently on £140,000 a year but he can expect that to double for his new contract.

*Meanwhile Arsenal Striker Francis Jeffers is believed to be on his way to Wolves after having limited chances at Arsenal.
