Player And Goal Of The Season Announced

VOTING for player and goal of the season has now ended. Following a fantastic response from the visitors of this website we can now announce the results.....

Player Of The Season:

 

Henri Camara has been voted player of 2003/04 with Alex Rae just four percent behind Camara in the closest player of the season battle for years.

 

Joleon Lescott won your votes last season, but it appears the late surge from the exciting Henri Camara was enough to earn him 36% of the votes. Alex Rae in second place won 32%  whilst Paul Ince came third with 17% of the votes.

 

Goal Of The Season:

 

It was between Alex Rae and Henri Camara for the player of the season vote, so it may come as no surprise that the same two players were miles ahead of the rest in the voting for your goal of the season. 

 

In the end, Alex Rae, who recently departed to Rangers won the goal of the season vote with his stunning effort at Bolton Wanderers' Reebok Stadium early in the season. 43% of your votes went to the Scot.

 

Henri Camara came second with his cracking effort against Everton with 39% of the votes whilst Kenny Miller's winner against Manchester United put him in third place with just 6% of your votes.
