Elena Bovina beats Marie-Gaianeh Mikaelian.

Elena Bovina from Russia took her second WTA career single title by beating Marie-Gaianeh Mikaelian in the final of the Bell Challenge in Quebec Canada 6-3 6-4.

After winning on clay Poland last May Elena Bovina became the youngest winner in the history of the Bell Challenge with 19 years, 6 months and 12 days.

Seventh seed Bovina said:"Mikaelian played really good tennis and I tried to keep her away from her tennis so I could play more of mine, I did everything I wanted to so I'm really happy."

Argentina's Maria Emilia Salerni and Colombia's Fabiola Zuluaga won the doubles title, beating Samantha Reeves and South Africa's Jessica Steck 4-6, 6-3, 7-5.
