Chinese duo clash at Moorilla International

Chinese players Jie Zhang and Li Na both completed a double win to book an all Chinese semi-final at the Moorilla International, Hobart

Zhang easily overcame Japan's Shinobu Asagoe 6-2, 6-3 while her compatriot ousted Poland's Marta Domachowska 6-3, 3-6, 6-1 to complete the line-up.

The other semi-final will include second seed Gisela Dulko who was made to work against Czec Kveta Peschke and Iveta Benesova who edged past 15 year old sensation Nicole Vaidisova 2-6, 6-4, 6-4.

The Chinese look to dominate the WTA in time for the 2008 Olympic games in Beijing and look likely that they could achieve that goal. They claimed the Gold medal in doubles at Athens and set up a tennis camp to get their players in shape ready for this season, so watch out for lots of up and coming Chinese stars.
