After a long day at the Australian Open, Lindsay Davenport, Nathalie Dechy, Alicia Molik and Patty Schnyder made it into the next round. Nathalie Dechyn and Patty Schnyder managed to beat Anastasia Myskina and Elena Dementieva on their way into the next round.
