She reached the quarterfinals Strasbourg and lost to no. 2 Graf 3 sets. Through to the last 16 at Wimbledon, upsetting No. 2 Seles 8-6 final set saving match points, before falling to Tauziat 12-10 final set Sandrine climbed into the Top 20 for first time after Wimbledon. Won her first WTA tour title in Palermo where she defeated no. 3 seed Schett in a 3 set tiebreaker. She climbed into the top 10 for the first time, ranked at # 9 on Feb.7, 2000.cracked the Top 10 in the world rankings at No. 9 for the first time following the tournament on Feb 7, 2000 Reached the semi-finals at Miami after defeating Jennifer Capriati but lost to Lindsay Davenport the no 2 of the world. She won her second career doubles title at Paris Indoors with July Halard-Decugis and the third at Stanford with Chanda Rubin. Sandrine joined the French Olympic 2000 team but didn’t play due to an injury. Qualified for the season ending championships and lost in the 1st round to Monica Seles. 2001 She reached the final in Canberra, upsetting no. 7 Mary Pierce for the first time in six meetings before losing to Justin Henin. Lost to Henin at the Australian Open in the 3rd round. Sandrine reached her second final of 2001 at Doha falling to Martina Hingis. She reached the quarterfinals in Dubai but got defeated by Martina Hingis. In Bol Sandrine reached the semi-finals and losing to eventual winner Montolio. At Wimbledon Sandrine defeated Sugiyama in three sets before falling to Jennifer Capriati in 4th round. Williams in the quarterfinal. She reached the 4th round at US Open going down to eventual winner V. Williams. In Waikoloa Sandrine won her first title in three years, leading sixth-ranked Henin in the final 6-3, 2-0 when Henin retired with a thigh injury. She reached the quarterfinal of the Tokyo Princess Cup lost to Sanchez-Viccario in a third-set tiebreaker. Sandrine reached her third semi-final at Filderstadt in four years where she defeated no. 2 Capriati. She qualified for the Tour's season-ending doubles championships for the first time At the championships, in singles, upset No. 7 Mauresmo and No. 1 Capriati, her first-ever win over a current No. 1 in 18 tries, to reach the SF and finish with a season-ending-best ranking of No. 11 Ended her season ranked at # 11. 2002 She reached the quarterfinal in Sydney but lost to Martina Hingis.
