2 goal lead thrown away as Robin's grab point

Just when you think things can't get any worse at the bottom you manage to throw away a 2 goal lead and end up with a draw that does nothing for you.Yes people this is the Cheltenham Town rollercoaster with more up and downs than the Alps.

Huddersfield started the match in a frantic fashion with Steve Book getting an early touch after a shot from Smith.Cheltenham then had a much better chance only seconds later when Naylor's shot went over from close range.The next half hour had nothing of interest but the game burst into life with a goal from Grant McCann.His close range shot the result of good work by Julian Alsop.It got better for Cheltenham's travelling army 2 minutes later with another close range goal this time from big Jules.The last chance of the half fell to Smith as his curling shot just went over

The 2nd half proved to be much more lively than the 1st as Kenny Irons 20 yard free kick pulled Huddersfield back into the match.They then equalised a few minutes later as Smith volleyed in Thorrington's cross to leave Cheltenham rocking.The worst possible thing that could have happened then came true as Huddersfield took the lead as Smith smashed in another volley from the edge of the area.Smith nearly made it 4-2 and game over but his shot hit the woodwork.Grant McCann then made him pay for that miss as he got his brace with a well drilled shot.Both teams then had chances to win it as Devaney's shot was tipped over by Senior and Book pulled off a brilliant save from a close range Booth header

So in all a draw that dosen't really help either side but it was a good game
