Football is a winter game. Players and fans go on holidays in the
summer. Those in European competitions should prepare by starting
pre-season training earlier and organising mini-tournaments with
Irish/Scottish qualifiers. How would you integrate a summer WPL with a
winter 'rest-of-the-pyramid'? |
| The Way Forward | More money into grass roots football (the U21 league is a positive step). FAW grants for stadium improvements and club licensing. Better communication between clubs and the media to highten exposure and give a more professional image. The holy grail: the 6 exiles to join the WPL in future years |
