	28-30 May – European Grand Prix, Nürburgring, Germany Da Matta: “Situated just down the road from the Panasonic Toyota Racing factory in Cologne, the European GP at the Nürburgring is a home race for the team and we have a lot of support from our colleagues who fill the grandstands. Although both Olivier and myself were forced to retire from last year’s race, I enjoyed driving around the Nürburgring and felt that the car was well suited to the track’s characteristics. The car requires maximum downforce to work with the variety of low-medium speed corners and straights, which demand good mechanical grip and traction.”
