Biography: Adam Jones became something of an oddity in international rugby, only lasting thirty minutes before being dragged off after thirty minutes for Gethin Jenkins during the World cup and then the Six Nations in 2004. Steve Hansen claimed the Abercrave born tight head was unfit and over weight, which Jones's region strenuously denied.

Up untill the ankle injury that ruled him out of that championship, Jones had been the inform tight head for some seasons' in Wales, only Llanelli's John Davies can come close to him.
