| Newport Gwent Dragons will be looking to do what was once
thought improbable and condone Ulster to their third straight defeat at Ravenhill.
There will be little shortage of belief amongst Chris Andersons' side that they can pull off such a feat following last Fridays' superb all round display that left a full strength Leinster side trailing. Notably the Dragons' were comfortable 30-7 winners over Fridays' opponents during pre-season at Rodney Parade With Jason Forster's' return from concussion, Anderson finds himself in a selection quandary. The Australian must decide who makes way for his captain, past selection would indicate Michael Owen moving to lock, and Peter Sidoli moving to the bench, with Richard Bryan at number eight and Jamie Ringer at blindside. After a bye last weekend Ulster will be looking to make up for some torrid early season form under new coach Mark McCall. Irish international lock Gary Longwell makes his long awaited return from a back injury as Ulster look to re-discover their hard edge up front. Fellow international Tyrone Howe makes his first start of the season, Kiwi's Paul Steinmetz and Campbell Feather are other re-enforcements. Feather replaces injured captain Andy Ward, while Steinmatz is seen to add more balance to the centre with Kevin Maggs. |
