What does being a football referee mean to you?  It means that I’m definitely stupid and don’t have a life as well as not having a father!

Any pet hates in football?  Cheating, blocking, shirt pulling and spitting.

What Law of the Game would you change?  Law 12 – specifically simulation. I would make it an ordering off offence.

The most difficult Law to apply?  Law 12 again - judging whether a player is backing into an opponent or if his opponent is climbing over him.

And main weaknesses?  Sprinting

We have not seen Ian Frickleton for four years he was in charge of a game against Brechin in the September of 2002. We lost that game 4 - 2 after having Mark McGoewn sent off. We also had Paul Armstrong and Sandy Stewart book.

Brchin also suffered in that match, having Charles King red carded and five other players booked.
