Jerome Vareille joined Airdrie United in September 2002 as a free agent having previously played for Airdrieonians under Ian McCall. The popular Frenchman brings a wealth of experience to the 'new' Diamonds and a touch of class.

Jerome is striker who hasn't been noted for his prolific scoring record but who does contribute in many ways. A former Mulhouse (France) and Kilmarnock player he has considerable technique and a hard work ethic that defies his image.
