Airdrie –V- Forfar Preview

Our second home game in a row sees us face Forfar Athletic, who at the present time are sitting two places above us with only one point the difference.
So this is a call to any Airdrie fan with a voice to come to the stadium tomorrow and make sure the team knows that we support them. Attendance shows you support them but we need more than that now we need noise and the return to a time when coming to Airdrie was enough to make teams quake.
We have songs by the bucket load all we need now is the fans to sing them, there was a time when Airdrie fans sung win, lose or draw now we sing ONLY when were winning!!!!!
Rant over onto the game!!
It looks like we have a full squad to choose from with only a very slight doubt over Scott Wilson, we have to get some consistency not only in our performances but in our team selection and hopefully now we will be able to achieve this.
The last two games have seen Sandy switch to a back four and apart from two mistakes we have seemed more solid. About time if you ask me but then I hate three at the back.
The unfortunate thing is that Ray Stewart brings an un-changed squad to face us, then again this team only managed to draw 1-1 with bottom of the league Alloa last week.
Please be aware that the Trust is still taking names for the Kids free under 12 Christmas party, register soon so Santa can make sure all the kids get a present. Also the Trust Competition moves into week 2 tomorrow night meaning the prize money drops and an extra slice of the players face is added. For more details follow the link

On the prediction leagues on the site it seems a lot of supporters are going for the draw, well guys all i can say is good luck, today our fortunes changed as ZDB has had a hair cut so a definite win on the books for Airdrie 2-1 the final score.
