St Mirren V Airdrie match preview

St Mirren have fallen in to the same trap as a lot of teams who look as though they are on their way to the big time SPHell. After seven years in the Bells First Division their fans feel they are just to big/good for this division and are making a lot of enemies on their way.

So finally we have it the re-arranged St Mirren match, on a cold Tuesday night in December, with a 7:45 pm Kick off. It's going to be another cold one so for those brave enough to journey fourth rap up warm and lets get in to them.

Rant over on to the game!

Sandy Stewart sees the return of David Dunn after he served his one match suspension, Gary Twigg is still ruled out of contention for this game.

Like most of us Sandy was disappointed not to have taken something from Saturdays game and hopes to make up for it in what will be a very difficult match.

Gus McPherson will be fielding the same starting eleven that defeated Hamilton on Saturday.

St Mirren are hoping to go six points clear at the top of the division and we are hoping to stop it from happening.

 Prediction

We need a win but I'm afraid that tonight my head says we will be on the end of a 2-0 defeat. For prediction league purposes I have taken a 2-1 win for us though. Heart of head going to cause me heart ache I know.
