The Roughyeds were beaten 18-14 by Whitehaven Warriors. The Recreation Ground has never been one of Oldham's favourite grounds and once again, they were well beaten in this pre-seaaon friendly billed as the "Seat Challenge". On this evidence it looks like being another hard season for Roughyed fans.
