Reaction to the Mansfield game

Why is it that the Lincoln City management can't see what virtually everyone else has seen after another crap performance? Lincoln's current mid-season crapathon continued with yet another defeat to yet another mediocre midtable side. We'll be lucky to get the playoffs at this rate.
In recent weeks we’ve thrown away a great chance to effectively secure ourselves an automatic promotion place. Without trying to sound disrespectful to Hereford, Accrington and Mansfield, we should have taken a maximum haul of 9 points from 3 teams that are going to finish midtable at best. It’s the same old story throughout the season though, get in a great position and then ruin it by playing absolute bollocks for several weeks. Infact, we’ve been crap since October, and if the management and players can’t see how incredibly shite they’ve been recently then there is something wrong. My first complaint about today is a reference back to what Schofield said earlier in the season : “If you’re playing well, then you’ll start” What a crock of lies and shite that was. If that’s the case, why was Weir-Daley dropped last week allowing Forrester to walk in the side. Or how about today with Dany N’Guessan, a player who hasn’t played for nearly a month, gets in the first team ahead of Weir-Daley. That’s what is weak about Schofield, he doesn’t seem to be able to recognise who our most in-form players are, ironically he’s constantly playing players who don’t deserve to be in the first team, Ryan Amoo being the case in point. Back in October, we were playing some of the best football in division, and since then we’ve played hoofball, and have lost more games than we’ve won since going top after the Swindon game. It’s yet another case of Schofield and Deehan fixing something that wasn’t broke. Why change a tactic that was easily beating sides in this division to a tactic that has seen us barely get in the playoffs year after year. The way we’re going, we won’t even make the playoffs this year because that gap between us and 8th is very quickly disappearing, and despite just being a point off of 3rd, you honestly can’t see us getting that point any time soon. How many blips are we going to have this season? This is our 4th blip of the season and there’s a saying that good teams always have a blip during the season, but not 4 blips. We seem to have lost the ability to do the simple things, such as passing the ball just a few yards without it going straight to an opposition player *looks in Ryan Amoo’s direction*. I said it way back in September tat our set pieces were a joke at best, and what a surprise that 7 months later we still can’t either beat the first defender, or even just simply challenge the goalkeeper. Quite simply, this side doesn’t have the bottle for promotion, and even if we do somehow fluke promotion, playing this gobshite every week will just see us get relegated straight back. To quote someone off of the message board : “Why can’t the management see what is blatantly obvious for 5000 people every week?” The simple fact is that we’ve been incredibly fortunate that results have gone our way recently, but that won’t last forever and we’re in real danger of completely embarrassing ourselves on TV in few weeks. This crap that we’re watching every week simply isn’t good enough, and the only way you can see it changing is if several loan signings are made to replace several players who quite simply aren’t good enough to be in a promotion chasing side. Now watch as the players do their usual trick of actually giving a shite against another promotion chasing side.
