Midfielder Rowe, who can also play in attack, joined the Imps at the beginning of the 2013/14 season after getting relegated with Barrow.

Signed From : Barrow

Danny Rowe has an excellent pedigree having started his career in the youth academy of Preston North End before moving onto the same set up at Manchester United, whereas he was initially hailed as someone who could easily step into the first team and help out Ruud Van Nistelrooy. He failed to make a first team appearance at Old Trafford before being released and eventually going on to play for Fleetwood, Stockport and Barrow.

It was a game against Barrow, the first game after manager David Holdsworth was sacked, that Rowe particularly impressed in as he was the only player really causing City any trouble up front. Future Imps manager Gary Simpson was in the stands and was impressed.

Rowe signed for the Imps in the summer of 2013 after suffering relegation with Barrow.
