Midfielder : Todd Jordan

Former Sheffield Wednesday trainee Todd Jordan joined the Imps towards the end of the 2012/13 season. He became the first permanent signing of the Gary Simpson era, although he did describe signing Jordan as a gamble.

Jordan started his career as a trainee at Sheffield Wednesday but ultimately failed to make the grade and went into the lower reaches of non-league, playing fot several teams such as Shirebrook.

When appointed as manager, Gary Simpson took a gamble on Jordan and bought him into the club. With a similar playing style to Jamie McCombe, Jordan became popular amongst fans but an injury limited his appearances.

He signed a contract that will see him remain at the club until 2014.
