Lacklusture City scrap point

City barely scraped a draw in front of Soccer Sunday's cameras as Marcus Richardson's only major contribution was the goal, other than that, he didn't do much and it was just one of those days.

City kicked off and almost scored within 10 seconds as Fletch ran down the wing before shooting and his shot being well saved by Danby. The following corner resulted in a goal mouth scramble before the ball was eventually cleared.

City should have taken the lead about 20 minutes later as a through ball to Francis Green was hit against the keeper and it fell to Fletch but his shot was tame and was easily stopped on the 6 yard line.

City were finding it hard to break through a rock solid Kidderminster defence.

Kidderminster then did what the Imps had failed to do. Within 2 minutes of the kickoff to the second half, Futcher's clearence hit Gain's back and fell to Brown who almost somehow managed to screw it up but stuck the ball away for 1-0.

An unusually silent City crowd had to sit through what was one of the less interesting games so far this season.

It looked as though Kidderminster would hold on for all 3 points until a cross from Yeo was eventually bundled in by Marcus Richardson for his only decent contribution in the entire match.
