The Imps went to Bournemouth on the last away game of the season with the home side having only lost once all season there. Not only did the Imps win, they became the only team all season in any competition to win with a clean sheet.

Me and a few friends had gone to the lovely Southern town of Bournemouth for the weekend. The last away game of the regular season and what a daunting place to go. Bournemouth had only lost once at home all season long and turned around so many results after being behind it was just silly.

Anyway, Bournemouth is a lovely little town, full of sights for all types of visitors. I thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Bournemouth and for more details on the weekend, please read "Bournemouth to Bournemouth" which can be found in the menu.

Bournemouth's ground, Dean Court is a fairly nice 3 sided ground and was certainly one of the best in League 2 at the time, it was also one of the few all seater grounds. The stands at the side were fairly identical. Long blood-red seating areas raising about as high as Sincil Bank's Stacey West. The final stand itself was behind the far goal to away fans who were in one corner of the side stand. This was also a fairly nice stand although unlike the other two, it had no writting on it.

I thoroughly enjoyed the visit to Bournemouth for numerous reasons and would seriously recommend it to anyone considering going to watch their team there.
