Second rate, unacceptable, school boy plays

The Imps lost 2-1 to Kidderminster Harriers after an unacceptable, second rate performance. Very few Imps palyers came out of the game with any credit and I for one am started to get sick of these crap performances and pure bone-idleness from several first team players.

Ok, before I go onto talk about the game's goals, let me just have my rant, WE ARE SHIT. There have been extremely few games this season where we have deserved nothing out of the game, we should be where Kidderminster are, our passing is a joke, all our players don't seem to complete successful passes, a player will go towards goal and instead of passing to a player in a much better posistion, he runs at the defence and loses it. City have just been shite this season we have no business being at this end of the table at all. Keith keeps saying we need new strikers to convert chances well if our strikers didn't have to feed of the scrapes they are given then we'd score more.

We continue to play 2 in midfield when everyone else plays at least 3 and some play as many as 5. Half the players just seem so bloody bone idle and I for one will be glad when half of them disappear in the summer because it's be nice to see players who want to play for the club rather than just come in, collect their wages, play shite week in, week out.

Anyway, to the game, very few players came out of the game with an credit today in an Imps shirt. It did start quite well with City actually doing some nice flowing passing around the pitch and that eventually leaded to a goal when Westcarr burst at the defence and shrugged off a defender before passing to the unmarked Green to tap it in to make it 1-0.

7 minutes later it was level when the ever popular game of Defensive Musical Statues came about when Kidderminster had a corner and one of the smallest players on the pitch, Blair Sturrock managed to convert, what's the fucking point in having McCombe and Futcher playing just because of their height when they don't use it? How fucking often does Futcher actually bother to jump?

Kiddy's winner came early in the second half when an attempt on goal from Toner was cleared to Russell. He then played the ball out to Dean Keates and as Russell arrived in the area Keates passed it back to him. Marriott came out and Russell lobbed it over his head.

Taking nothing away from Kiddy who did deserve there win and I thoroughly expect them to survive comfortably, a bunch of old woman in wheelchairs could have beaten City today. That's all I'm going to comment on at the minute because quite frankly, I don't see the performances getting any better seeing as only 3 or 4 of the players seem to give a shit.
