France, USA, Russia reach Davis Cup semi-finals

He beat Bohdan Ulihrach, of the Czech Republic, 7-6, 7-5, 3-6, 4-6, 6-3 in the decisive final match.
France won 3-2 lead and will meet the United States in the next round.
Earlier, the Czech Republic's Jiri Novak had beaten Sebastien Grosjean 3-6, 6-1, 6-3, 6-1 to level the tie at 2-2.
The United States took an unbeatable 3-1 lead over Spain, after Andy Roddick defeated Alberto Martin 6-2, 6-4, 6-2 on grass in Houston.
Russia completed a 4-1 victory over Sweden in Moscow, in another quarter-final.
Argentina advanced to the semi-finals, after beating Croatia 3-2. Croatia had hoped Goran Ivanisevic would compete in Sunday's singles, but a nagging shoulder injury ruled him out.
