Millwall beat Telford on Wednesday night to make sure we do have a game tomorrow. After all the confusion of the possible scenario's when our 5th Round tie might be played we now know and we're all ready for the big game at the Den.
Burnley travel to Millwall for our 5th Round FA Cup tie tomorrow. The Clarets are just 90 minutes away from a 1/4 final place and although most fans were initially disappointed with the draw, it has to be said that this is a great opportunity of reaching the final 8 for the second successive year.
The New Den is a ground where we've done pretty well at in recent seasons. We drew there last season in the league 1-1 with Ian Moore getting our goal. The previous season saw the Clarets record a comfortable 2-0 win in the searing heat in London with Ian Moore scoring again alongside his namesake Alan. Ian Moore does have a good record aaginst Millwall with him scoring in 4 of the 5 games we've played against them since he signed for the club.
Robbie Blake returns from suspension for the game and will reclaim his place upfront. Alan Moore will be the man to make way with Neil Wood staying on the left side of the pitch. Graham Branch has been ruled out with a calf strain and Richard Chaplow will play before jetting off to Holland for international duties.
Daniel Dichio will play for the Lions as a loan player before making his move permanent next week. It is expected that Andy Marhsall will return to the nets to replace Willy Gueret. They have no suspension worries and apart from the goalkeeper the sde should be the same one that beat Telford on Wednesday.
