Franchise Preview

There are many games in football described as 'vital' but tonight's game really is vital for Burnley Football Club. We simply have to win this match.

This is our game inhand on our relegation rivals and a win tonight would see us hit the 50 points mark but more importantly we will be 3 points ahead of Gillingham who are currently third from bottom.

A win would also give us a massive lift ahead of another 'vital' clash against Derby on Saturday. The fans expect a win and there is no reason why we shouldn't against a side that is full of kids.

No one feels sorry for Franchise and every fan around the country will be happy at their demise but let's make sure we end up with 4 points off them this season.

Unfortuantely we have got an injury crisis at the moment with Ian Moore, Tony Grant, Neil Wood and Paul Weller all major injury doubts. Dele Adebola is unlikely to be fit so Stan will probably use the forward line up of Blake and Branch. Assuming Tony Grant fails a fitness test then Lenny Johnrose will partner Richard Chaplow in midfield with Little and Chadwick in the wide berths. The defence will be unchanged from Saturday's match with Cardiff.

Franchise are expecting Dean Holdsworth and Mark Williams to be fit for tonight's game. They have had some decent results recently but we MUST win the game tonight and remember that prices are only £10 for Adults and £5 for kids so please get yourself down to the Turf to support the lads.

Predicted Burnley line up:-
Jensen, Roche, May, McGregor, Camara, Little, Chaplow, Johnrose, Chadwick, Blake and Branch.
