Spain: Second free practice commentary

Unfortunately the fact that we all have to work to earn a living prevented us from viewing any of the live timing screens today for the free practice sessions. Despite that we have been in regular contact with our sources in the garage at Barcelona since the second free practice session finished.

Midland F1 Racing finished at the foot of the time sheets, but we are lead to believe that the team were experimenting with power steering setup and experienced understeer during this session. With this in mind it is slightly encouraging to see the team slightly spread out over the final list showing that each of the three drivers was actually trying something different today.

The third and final free practice session kicks off tomorrow at 11:00 local time (10:00 UK time) where we will be hoping for an upturn in performance and an improvement in final practice time positions. Hopefully we'll learn a little more once the team press release is published shortly.
