Albion always seemed to be in control of the match defending well and attacking even better.
A good home game when Albion excelled at least for the first 30 minutes. Albion always seemed to be in control of the match defending well and attacking even better. They played like a team up the top of the league, which is where they are. The game could have been remembered for the use of the whistle, decisions given and those not, but as the supporters left I am sure that Albion's teamwork and yet another home win will be what is remembered. Two tries for Martin Schusterman and one each to Alfie Tooala, Keni Fisilau and Ed Barnes who also converted three of the five gave Albion their 31 points and 5 league table points.
Within the first minute we knew we were going to be in for a great game as in only the second play and just 30 seconds after the starting whistle, and before everyone had taken their places in the stand, Martin as the man over touched down in the corner. 
Just seven minutes later with a multitude of passing Alfie was last in the series and touched down under the posts which Ed Barnes duly converted. We were waiting for the Welsh to come back but they were no where to be seen. On twenty minutes Keni Fisilau
again from some good play touched down in the corner which left a very difficult kick for Ed, on the wrong side of the pitch and into the wind kicked the ball hard for it to hang in the air before making it's way between the uprights. With only three more minutes on the clock Ed scores his own try close to the posts and after
getting his breath back converts to bring the score to 26-0 and securing the bonus point in under 25 minutes. On the half hour Danny Thomas came off for a blood injury, replaced by Chris Lowrie and before he could settle in the Welsh were through and scored close to the posts but were unable to convert. Half time score was 26-5.
Alfie Tooala and Ryan Hopkins did not return to the pitch after the break and were replaced by Nic Rouse and Alister Livesey with Tom Hayes moved to play at number 8. In the tenth minute Albion were penalised for crossing and Martin Schusterman was sin binned for not releasing the ball when the Welsh wanted to take a quick kick. Martin along with the Albion supporters were not amused and it was a full twelve minutes before he returned to the pitch. While Albion were down to 14 men the welsh scored their second and final try but again were unable to convert. After he returned Man of the Match Martin scored a try in the corner after an interception. Straight after mass replacements from both sides saw Chris Lowrie, Nat Saumi and Matias Albina on the pitch for the last ten minutes and Jonny Fabian for the last two. No further points were added to the scoreboard and the game finished at 31-10.
Despite the large number of penalties awarded mainly to 
London Welsh not one point was scored directly form a penalty kick. Martin Schusterman was awarded a deserved Man of the Match although there were many others that had a good game. Ed 
Lewsey had played well on the wing tackling and running both on and off the ball although for some of the time he appeared to be limping, this must be a worrying sign after so long off after his knee operation. Ed Barnes
played well for most of the game too both with the hand and the boot. Nigel Cane passed the ball quick from scrums and break downs until he was replaced towards the end of the game. In fact I could not see anyone who having a bad game. The only person that did not get on the pitch was Graham Dawe which I think in itself goes to show that he must have been happy with the team's performance.
