Luisão may be man on trial at Newcastle

Anyone attending St. James' today for the public training session will have noticed two unknown trialists being put through their paces.

And whilst we are unsure of their identities, we believe one of them is Brazilian defender Luisão:

Whilst the players certainly look alike, it is claimed that the trialists were a left back and a midfielder. Luisão is actually a center back, plying his trade with Benfica in Portugal, and was part of Brazil's World Cup squad this summer in Germany.

A further look at images of Luisão looks like it is very much the player who was training at St. James' today, but it is entirely possible it was someone else.

We will try and confirm the identity of our two trialists as soon as possible.
