JUVENTUS AWAY. October 1st.

Well there you go. There's not really much needs
saying about our European situation at the moment;
there's been plenty written elsewhere. When it comes down to it, you know, I know, and seemingly all of our opponents know, that we have been far from outclassed in the three games so far. A wonder goal in Kiev, a decent strike from a Feyenoord team who will still be wondering how they didn't conceded at least two, and a stunning free kick and a deflection in Turin, to go along with one of the worst disallowed goal decisions I've ever seen.
We haven't been amazing, but with even a touch of
luck, at least 4 points would have been forthcoming. But there you have it. It's time to play for 3rd place and hopefully a bit of a run in the UEFA cup. That's still very achievable. And I still maintain, that when the attacking flair and pace of Dyer and Bellamy et al finally clicks this season as it did last, someone is in for a pasting. Keep the faith.
P.S. Cheers for the Juve vs Toon pin badge from Turin, Dougie and Janice! North West Corner Toon Legends!!
