Exclusive: Daniele De Rossi to Newcastle United?

You may or may not know, but AS Roma are considering making young winger Daniele De Rossi available for transfer. According to reports in Italy, the club have already recieved interest from several clubs, and an unconfirmed offer from Newcastle United.

The news comes as Roma are of course looking to clear some of thier debts - and to do so, certain players will have to leave.  They admitted yesterday that this is so that they can afford to keep the likes of Francesco Totti.

Several players will be allowed to leave the club, and it looks like a long summer ahead foor AS Roma fans.
