It looks like Souness is making some strong and wise signings and if Figo does come ,and I hope he will, he will be a catalyst for a great developing English club who will in time make their deserved mark of distinction in the premiership.

Its all about chemistry and this feels good. I am optimistic

I think that things are looking up now. We have made a good signing in the form of Scott Parker, and with Emre and Figo possibly coming, and 2 months still left, I am confident we will make the Top 6 next year. AS LONG AS WE SIGN A STRIKER SOON!

I think entering the inter-toto cup could well have a negative effect on the team. It disrupts our fixtures, makes our season longer, and means we are likely to have injuries even before the season starts. Now the fixtures have been released I am even more worried, with Arsenal away on the first day of the season it will be demoralising if we take a knackered team with players missing. I can see that it is important to get back in Europe, but I'd rather have seen us concentrate on the league this year and get back in next season through standard league position qualification.

I think it is good that Souness has finally got rid of all the rubbish at the club. Kluivert, Robert, and O’Brien we’re all holding the club back, and although Aaron Hughes was a solid player, he was never going to be a starter for us.

Scott King

I can’t wait for next year. I think Bramble and Boumsong in the heart of central defence will make a great partnership and I can see up gunning for the Top 4.

I hope we sign a new left-back because Babayaro makes me sick. The lazy, idol idiot was a waste of money and feigned injuries. Get rid, and get someone new it.

It is way past time that Souness grew his tash back, I have been on this subject from long before he was manager, and frankly I am appauled that he still has no Tash. How can we expect to win anything.  All the managers that won stuff for us in the past had a tash to be proud of, and a tall hat wouldn't go amiss either.

Its time for action, its time for a tash
