Here is a selection of this weeks submissions – Feel free to email any comments to us, no mater how long or short. We will publish ALL entries we receive within reason. Email us at tynetalk@gmail.com and make sure we know it is for the MailBag.

We had no less than 18 SUBMISSIONS from Spurs fans about Nick Raynor’s article, and after asking for little response from Spurs fans, we still got a lot, most threatening to kill Nick. Therefore we are not publishing any…

Are you idiots really arguing about whether some people from one part of the country are more fickle/deluded/stupid than some people from another part?! Jesus, football fans are the same. (Unless they are Man U. fans*) They all love their clubs unconditionally and see them as being bigger and better than, probably, they really are. Don't waste your time on this b****cks. Slagging off each others actual players is much more sensible.

*I believe Man U fans actually are fickle/deluded/stupid, and generally don't have the first clue about anything football, only bothering talking about it when they win. Mackems are divvies, too.

Hi,

Just wondered if you could explain this… how are we a big club? Yes we have lots of fans (could be something to do with us being a one club city) but how are we a big club? Big company yes, big turnover yes, lots of trophies… no, lots of success…. No, big club….. Only in the eye of delusional fans.

Yes I am a Newcastle fan through and through but I am also a realist. Money is the only real reason why the likes of Emre and Parker joined this club. Parker could be playing champions league football with Everton next year but we offered him fifty odd grand a week.

And I’ll still be paying to watch a pile of shite in a months time!

Anelka, don’t sign him OR viduka. We’ll be worst than last season, if that’s possible.

Im proud of Micheal Copra for scoring his first goal for the club against Dubnica. Hopefully the first of many…

Butt was absolutely shocking against Dubnica. He just doesn’t want to turn up anymore. Get rid of him ASAP. Babayaro was not really good either, and Elliot was poor aswell. Elliot kept running off ball chasing and leaving Boumsong alone.

Harper was the Man of the Match for me though and if Given left, I’d want him in the team straight away.

I think Graeme Souness' approach to the InterToto cup match was very professional. He was not complacent, took them very seriously and this showed through the players performances. Slightly disappointed we gave away a goal, and I hope some more cover is brought in for defence. Robbie Elliot is a good hard working loyal professional, however I do not think he is up to playing centre back. Perhaps he could do a job at left back, but I hope he is our last resort.
