Jersey Reds Overrun a Staunch OE's
Jersey Reds racked up six tries to start their pre-season games with a comfortable win over Nat 1 Old Elthamians. However, the scoreline didnt refelct the effort and work rate of the nat 1 side. The Reds made a very strong start, winning a penalty from the kick-off, kicking to the corner and labringing out the ol' faithful rolling maul from which hooker Jack Macfarlane rumbled over. The second try was pretty much a carbon copy of the first, with the Hooker dropping over after another powerful maul. The scoreboard didn’t move again until Jersey back row man Conor Joyce went over in the 31st minute.

Biljon - Feet On Ground
JERSEY may have just enjoyed their finest Greene King IPA Championship campaign in recent memory, but head coach Harvey Biljon insists they will not be getting carried away as they gear up for next season.
Plymouth Albion - At Brickfields
Jersey have always won at Brickfields but not on Saturday where we contrived to outscore Albion by three tries to two and dominate possession but lost the match by a single point and given what that cracking club has been through this season I don't begrudge them the four points they so desperately needed.
Jersey's best ever result at Clifton Lane and but for the referee failing to give Jersey a clear scrum penalty 25m out at the end we could easily have ended up with an unlikely win. It would have been more than harsh on Roth if we had won however as they dominated 80% of the first half and should have been well ahead at half time. The error count by both sides was the highest I've seen this season and it couldn't be blamed on the conditions which for early February was remarkably dry and well above freezing.
JERSEY FLY NORTH AHEAD OF TITANS CLASH
After clinching their first Championship win in Yorkshire in six attempts in their last away game, Jersey are looking for more of the same this weekend. The Islanders won 19-26 at Castle Park, Doncaster three weeks ago, and this Saturday they will run out at Clifton Lane in Rotherham hoping to continue recent good form. As well as the victory over the Knights, Jersey edged a tight encounter against Nottingham by 12-10 last Saturday, and also gave Bristol a tough battle at St Peter before losing out at the death.
OTTO AND GRAHAM ARRIVE TO BOLSTER JERSEY RANKS
Two new players have arrived in Jersey this week to bolster Harvey Biljon's injury-hit squad. The Islanders travel to Yorkshire today for tomorrow's Greene King IPA Championship match with Rotherham, boosted by the signings of Fautua Otto and Gary Graham.
Doncaster Knights Away
We Won! I have only said that once after an away trip this year and it was a wonderful, ugly win on a day when the weather threw everything at us and Jersey played brilliantly at times and like five year olds at other times but I'm not in the least bothered. We won! I hope the Monkey is firmly on someone else's back.
