Report: Chester 0-0 Town

Chester City made the most of their FA Cup reprieve, earning a 3rd round replay against Town after a 0- draw at the Deva yesterday.

The home side could have easily won the game if it wasn’t for Town ‘keeper Shane Supple who made fantastic saves to deny Gregg Blundell and Sean Hessey, Blundell also had a goal ruled out for offside.

 

Billy Clarke was also denied by a great save from Chester ‘keeper John Danby. Alan Lee could have snatched a win towards the end when he fired onto the bar.

 

Chester now visit Portman Road on Tuesday the 16^th of January with a 7:45 kick off.
