Big Metal Thing, Midday, 2nd April

One month to go, and I know that there's two very important league games beforehand, but we thought we'd give everyone a bit of warning.

Throughout this month we're going to be putting a few articles on the site about Paris, a sort of idiots guide written by a genuine idiot, so that you all know how to get to key sights, bars and the ground.

But this is an advance warning, and proof of how great things are planned when drunk. When I went over for the French final last season, the Perpignan supporters all gathered for general merriment (a band, singing etc) under the Eiffel Tower. So I thought "we can do that", and by the sounds of Sunday afternoon, other people are starting to run with it.

So this is a formal invitation. Let's try and get as many Falcons supporters under the Eiffel Tower at midday on the matchday. Let's make some noise. Let's see how many of us have travelled, before we all head for the match and the bars and an unforgettable experience. Let's meet old friends, make new ones, and show the Parisians how warm we are.

Then let's go and win the match, so we can REALLY celebrate.
