The long-awaited Jarrod Joke Book is here at last! A picture of the front cover is directly to to your left. Here, OxonRob gives us the details of how, when, where, etc.
The Adult Joke Book for Jarrod
Once upon a time, when he heard that Jarrod Cunningham was sick, a little boy called Reading Fatboy realised that everyone loved Jarrod and would like to wear T-shirts bearing Jarrod’s name. So he told other people about his idea and roped them in to help him sell the T-shirts. Happily the shirts looked really nice and were made of a quality material, so between them they raised lots and lots of money to help Jarrod in his fight against ALS, a form of Motor Neurone Disease.
Then these two other little boys called Bisach and OxonRob thought that it might also make people happy if they collected lots and lots of jokes to make these people laugh. So they got these people to send them jokes and cartoons and the boys turned them into a book, which they decided to sell back to these same people for £3 a shot, again raising money to help Jarrod. Just in time for Christmas, they thought. Won’t Jarrod be happy? What a right pair of copycats!
Our book for Jarrod is now ready!
It consists of 40 A5 pages chock-full of jokes and ‘funnies’ and cartoons and improbable photographs. It also has a Foreword penned by Jarrod Cunningham himself, and a character assassination of JC written by Neal Hatley, aka Beefy. Plus some colour photos of Jarrod on the covers.
