One night this week, after working late, I drifted off as I was watching a re-run on StetsonTV (it's channel number 765, sandwiched between "Ferrets and Ferret Men" and "Haemorrhoid World") of that cowboy classic early 1960s TV series "The Goode, the Brad and the Uglies". I have a dim recollection [Ed: that's your only sort, mate] of the following scene:

Bath v Quins, The visitors contribute to their own downfall.
A few seasons now since I last visited The Rec as tickets usually sell out very quickly but managed to book nice and early this year. A 12.45 kick off on a Saturday is at least better than a Friday evening but meant that an overnight stop over was necessary to ensure that I made the start of the game especially as the Bath Christmas Market is now up and running and parking can be a real challenge.

Well, we played with so much promise but came away with nothing but a bit of pride. Was that enough for a good score for some players?
Harlequins v Worcester, Anglo Welsh Cup
It only seemed like yesterday that we were entertained with an eleven try fest when Worcester Warriors visited town but two weeks later here they were again, this time in the supporters “favourite” competition, the Anglo Welsh Cup. One late change to the published Quins team as Charlie Matthews failed a late fitness test (concussion) so Ben Glynn moved from the back row to play alongside George Merrick with Archie White taking his position on the flank.
